Established in 1906, the Estonia Theatre has grown into the country’s largest musical theatre, staging opera, ballet, operetta, and musical productions, hosting concerts, and offering a wide range of other exciting events. At the same time, it is also a historic symbol for Estonians. It was here that the nation’s first parliament was assembled in 1919, where the Congress of Estonia convened in 1990 to restore the Republic of Estonia, where the President of Estonia holds his ceremonial reception on Independence Day, and where distinguished guests are hosted. Just as important as the celebrations, or even more important, are the days when the Estonia Theatre is full of music, providing an inexhaustible cultural resource for locals and tourists alike.
Welcome to Estonia!
