EDUCATION AND WORK
AnnaKarin is a musical director, and she has a Master’s degree in acting from the University of Gothenburg. As a director, she has worked with the project “Musical platform” and she is an experienced development advisor for various newly written musical works. She regularly gives masterclasses at the university as a guest teacher. She is also a theatre director who has started and runs two independent theatre groups in Sweden, the Theatre Nova and Ensembleverket. As a musical director and actress, she has worked at The Royal Dramatic Theatre (Stockholm), Riksteatern (Stockholm), Stockholm City Theatre, Norrköping Symphony Orchestra, Småland’s Music and Theatre (Jönköping), Theater Västernorrland (Sundsvall), Östgötateatern (Norrköping), Ung Scen/Öst (Linköping), Gävle Folkteater, University of Stage and Music (Gothenburg), Ballet Academy (Stockholm).
