EDUCATION AND WORK
Since the summer of 2012, Jula Reindell has been living and working in Germany as a costume designer. She obtained her Bachelor of Fashion Design from the University of Applied Sciences Pforzheim in Germany, where she studied costume and fashion design. She furthered her education by completing a Master’s program in Arts-Fashion Design and Technology at the London College of Fashion. For her final Master’s collection she was awarded with the Bavarian State prize for Young Fashion Designers in Munich.

Throughout her career, she has gained valuable experience in various theatres, including the State Theatre Mainz, Vienna Opera and Theatre Dortmund, where she worked as a costume assistant for opera and ballet for two seasons. During this time, she had the opportunity to create costumes and stage designs for a range of plays, including a project for the artist duo Lundahl&Seitl performed at renowned institutions, such as the Hamburger Kunsthalle, Stadtmuseum Berlin, National Museum Stockholm and at the Salzburg Festival. She has also collaborated on projects with Ballet Dortmund under the direction of Xin Peng Wang, Benjamin Millepied, and the Young Opera and the Young Theatre Dortmund. She has established a consistent collaboration with Michiel Dijkema since 2015.
