EDUCATION AND WORK
Kirill Belov began studying the piano with his mother Elena Belova and continued studying singing with his father Vladimir Belov in the Ufa State Institute of Arts. In 2017, he was invited to the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers under the leadership of Larisa Gergieva, where he was a soloist from 2017 to 2019. He made his debut at the Mariinsky Theater in the role of Kai in Banevich’s opera “Kai and Gerda”. He also gave many concerts within the youth opera program of the Mariinsky Theatre. In 2019, he completed an internship at the Monte Carlo Opera House, after which he sang Yurodiviy in Mussorgsky’s “Boris Godunov”. In 2019–2020, he was a soloist of the Youth Opera Program of the Bolshoi Theatre under the leadership of Dmitry Vdovin. He has also participated in the masterclasses of Placido Domingo, Ernesto Palacio, Elizabeth Vidal, Makvala Kasrashvili. In 2020–2021, he was a soloist of the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater, debuting with the role of Foresto in Verdi’s “Attila”. In July 2021, he made his debut at the Opera for All Festival in St. Petersburg, singing the role of Bogdan Sobinin in Glinka’s opera “A Life for the Tsar”. 

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
He is the winner of the 3rd prize of the XI International Competition for Young Opera Singers in Tikhvin (2018) and the winner of the 2nd prize at the XXXII Sobinovsky Vocalists’ Competition (2019).
