Leonardo Celegato

EDUCATION AND WORK
Leonardo Celegato attended John Cranko Schule in Stuttgart and Ballettschule Theater Basel before joining the Vienna State Opera Ballet Academy and graduating with the highest marks in every discipline in 2018. Afterwards, he attended the Vaganova Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg and graduated in 2020. He joined The Joffrey Ballet as a Studio Company member the following season. In 2021, he joined the Estonian National Ballet and in December 2022 he was promoted to demi-soloist.

MEMORABLE MOMENT IN BALLET
“I will always remember my first time dancing in Mariinsky Theater, it was my first year in Vaganova Ballet Academy and after few weeks I was studying there I got the opportunity to dance the Pas de Cinq from Lifar’s “Suite en Blanc” and at that moment I understood what really means to be a professional ballet dancer.”
