Martin Trudnikov

EDUCATION AND WORK
Martin Trudnikov finished Tallinn Secondary School of Science and the accordion class of Nõmme Music School. In 2012–2016, he studied in the accordion class at the Tallinn Georg Ots Music School with Tiit Kalluste. He obtained his BA at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre as a music pedagogue (2019) and MA at the same university in chorus conducting (2021, the class of Prof. Toomas Kapten) as well as orchestra conducting (2023, the class of Prof. Arvo Volmer). Trudnikov has participated in the masterclasses of Paul Mägi, Vello Pähn, Lauri Sirp, Olari Elts, Risto Joosti and Arvo Volmer. 

As a conductor, Martin Trudnikov has worked with the Mixed Choir of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, Estonian TV Girls’ Choir, Sinfonietta and the symphony orchestra of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. Since 2023, Trudnikov is a chief conductor of the mixed choir Cantus. As an ensemble leader, accordionist, and a keyboard player he has worked with numerous Estonian pop singers. He is also the founder and leader of the ensemble Horoscope.
