EDUCATION AND WORK
Raimonds Bramanis graduated from Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music in 2007 and attended the masterclasses of Paolo de Napoli. Raimonds Bramanis made his debut at the Latvian National Opera as Papageno in Mozart’s “Die Zauberflöte” (2008). Before turning to the tenor repertoire, he sung baritone roles, such as Belcore (Donizetti’s “L’elisir d’amore”), Masetto (Mozart’s “Don Giovanni”) and Basilio (Mozart’s “Le nozze di Figaro”). During the season 2009/2010 Raimonds Bramanis made a transition to tenor repertoire with the role of Ismaele Verdi’s (“Nabucco”) and Macduff (“Macbeth”). Besides Latvian National Opera he has sung in Theater Magdeburg, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Theater Erfurt, Prague State Opera and Opera Hong Kong.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
In 2015, he was awarded the “Latvijas Gāze” Annual Award for Opera as Best Opera Soloist.
