Sara Yamashita

(apprentice)

EDUCATION AND WORK
Sara Yamashita trained with the State Ballet School Berlin, the Belorussian State University of Culture and Arts, National Ballet in Novosibirsk and the Tallinn Music and Ballet School (2019–2022) in the class of Irina Härm. She is an apprentice of the Estonian National Ballet since 2023.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
She has won several awards at international ballet competitions, such as the 3rd place at the European Ballet Grand Prix (2018), 1st place at the Japan-Estonia-Ukraine International Ballet Competition (2018, 2019, 2021), 2nd place at the same competition in 2020, 1st and 3rd place at the SPERA International Ballet Competition (2021) and came among the top 12 of the Young American Grand Prix competition (2020, 2021, 2022).
