EDUCATION AND WORK
Born in Genoa, tenor Alessandro Fantoni has built a distinguished international career. He honed his craft under the guidance of baritone Roberto Sèrvile and at the IOS Academy of the Zurich Opernhaus, where he collaborated with renowned conductors such as Nello Santi, Fabio Luisi and Marco Armiliato. His repertoire spans from verismo classics to contemporary works. He has performed in numerous opera theatres and festival, including Teatro Antico in Taormina, Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, and the theatres of Siena, Luni, Empoli, and Grosseto, Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania, Arena di Verona, Teatro San Carlo in Naples and Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago among others. Since 2023, he has been a member of “The Four Italian Tenors,” performing worldwide.
