EDUCATION AND WORK
Arete Kerge obtained her BA in singing from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (the class of Nadia Kurem) and her MA cum laude at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory (the class of Maestra Rebecca Berg). In the summer of 2013, she attended the masterclasses of Maestro Alberto Zedda in Pesaro Rossini Academy. She has performed in Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Russia, Poland, Italy, France, Holland, Ireland, Greece, Switzerland, USA, Canada, Barbados as a soloist. Arete Kerge has sung in the Zürich Tonhalle, Berliner Konzerthaus and New York Lincoln Center.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Arete received the 1st prize (Chori Praefecti) at the 2010 Santa Chiara Singing Competition in Naples in the category of sacral music. She won a 3rd place at the 2011 International Opera Singers’ competition in Spoleto. In autumn 2011, she won the award Premio Via Vittoria as the best singer at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory. In 2014, she won the 1st prize at the International Flame Music Competition in the category of classical singing. In 2015, she won the Richard Wagner Union scholarship. In 2010, she received the Kuldar and Marje Sink Young Singer Award.
