Badral Chuluunbaatar

(baritone)

WORK AND EDUCATION
Born in Mongolia in 1989, Chuluunbaatar studied singing with Prof. Tserenpil Eruu and graduated in lyrical singing at the Dance College of Mongolia in 2012. Subsequently he graduated from the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music in 2016. In 2018, he obtained his MD in the same institution. He is currently studying singing with the master Anatoly Gussev. 

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
Badral Chuluunbaatar is the winner of many international singing competitions, including the USSR People’s Artist A. P. Ivanov’s International Opera Singing Competition (2013), 2nd prize at the International Contest USSR People’s Artist N. Obuhovag (2013), 2nd prize at the Elena Obraztsova International Singing Competition and special Mariinsky Theater Award, 2nd prize at the M. Glinka International Competition, a prize for the best interpretation of Rachmaninoff and an award as the best baritone voice (2014). At the International Opera Singing Competition Rimsky Korsakov in Sankt-Peterburg he won the first overall prize and best male voice award (2016). He won the first prize at the Sobinov International Singing Competition (2018) as well as at the contemporary film music singing competition “Chigiana Award” (2018). He also won the first prize at the Éva Marton International Singing Competition in Budapest (2018). In 2023, he won the special prize as the best baritone at the “60° Concurso International de Canto Tenor Viñas”.
