Ciro Lieto

EDUCATION AND WORK
Ciro Lieto graduated from Teatro San Carlo Ballet School and worked in Teatro San Carlo for one year. He had the opportunity to dance in MacMillan’s “Romeo and Julliet” and Bart’s “Swan Lake”. He continued his career with Opera de Nice for three years, where he danced in productions by Ekman, Forsythe, Hans Van Manen and many others. Since autumn 2025, he is a member of the Estonian National Ballet.

MEMORABLE MOMENT IN BALLET
“My most memorable moment was, when I had the privilege to dance my first principal role in the legendary pas de deux of “Trois Gnossiennes” by Hans Van Manen”.
