EDUCATION AND WORK
Latvian bass Edgars Ošleja studied singing at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Music Academy (2015–2019). In addition, he has attended several vocal and stage movement masterclasses with Marlene Smith (The Royal Danish Opera Academy), Annika Olinkari (Helsinki University of Arts), Robert Hyman (Stockholm Opera College), Giuseppe Sabattini (Oslo) and Dale Funding (Riga). 

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
He has attended several international singing competitions and won the following awards: 1st place at the “Ineses Galantes talenti” competition in Riga (2021), the title “Best Young Artist” at the Grand Latvian Music Award (2021) and the 1st place at the Jāzeps Vītols International Vocal Competition in Riga (2025).
