Fiametta Baldiserri

EDUCATION AND WORK
Fiametta Baldiserri studied geophysics in Bologna and later lighting engineering at the Teatro Regio in Parma. After graduating in 1987, she started working as a lighting technician and console operator. She educated herself further by assisting esteemed professionals, such as Sergio Rossi, Guido Levi, Giuseppe di Iorio and AJ Weissbard. In 2002, she debuted as a lighting designer for “La traviata” staged by Franco Zeffirelli. Her later collaborations include Andrea Cigni, Jacopo Spirei, Roberto Catalano, Silvia Paoli, Arnaud Bernard, Pierfrancesco Maestrini, Italo Nunziata, Fabio Ceresa, Aleksandr Sokurov, Giorgio Albertazzi, Stefania Bonfadelli, Carmelo Rifici, Leonardo Lidi, Alan Alpenfeld, Lorenzo Beloved and others.
Fiametta Baldiserri has taught Theatrical Lighting courses in the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna (2007–2017). For over 10 years she has been responsible for the lighting of the installations of the annual exhibitions of the San Domenico Museums in Forlì.
