EDUCATION AND WORK

Ingel Marlen Mikk studied in Tallinn Secondary School of Science in 2006–2015 and finished the Theatre Class of Tallinn Secondary School No. 32 in 2018. She studied piano simultaneously in Tallinn Music School in 2007–2013. In 2018–2021, she studied Jazz singing in Tallinn Georg Ots Music School. She debuted on the stage of the Estonian National Opera in 2006 in the role of Pippi Longstocking from Vinter/Raudmäe’s musical “Pippi Longstocking” at the jubilee gala “Estonian National Opera 100” and sings the title role in the theatre’s production since 2011. She has been a soloist at the concert “Estonian Ballads” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the composer Veljo Tormis (2010), has been the host for the multimedia production “Children’s Opera Gala” (2010–2011, Estonian National Opera), host of the Children’s Gala at Saaremaa Opera Days (2012), sung the role of Maiden of the Forest in Pajusaar’s children’s opera “The Prince and the Pauper” (2013–2016), main role in the theatre production “13:43” (2016, in Köismäe Tower), in 2017 she created her own clothing brand Wavy Grace (Wavygrace OÜ), she has acted in an Estonian Tv-series “Estonian Crime Scenes” as detective Jana Holm and in 2021, she sung the role of Alex in the musical family production “The Curse of the Sorcerer-Captain” (“Nõidkapteni needus”).

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

She reached the semi-finals of the “Song Carousel” singing competition in 2010 and in 2011 she received a Special Prize in the category of Female Artists in Alo Mattiisen’s national competition for vocal ensembles.

RECORDINGS

Under the stage name An-Marlen, she has released three singles: “Jammi” (2018), “Illusion” (2020) and “Golden” (2021).
