EDUCATION AND WORK
Jan Trninic studied dancing at Maribor Conservatory for Music and Ballet (2006–2019). While studying at the conservatory, he also worked with the Slovene National Opera and Ballet Theatre where he became a professional dancer in 2019. Since autumn 2022, he is a dancer with the Estonian National Ballet.
 
MEMORABLE MOMENT IN BALLET
“I have many memorable moments but the most impressive is performing soloist role as Tadzio from the show “Death in Venice” choreographed by Valentina Turcu at the age of 17. I love the novel since high school and this show was always close to my heart. It broadened my world view a lot at that young age”.
