EDUCATION AND WORK
João Xavier studied in the Conservatorio International de Ballet et Dança Annarella Sanches. After participating in Prix de Lausanne 2023, he started his professional career in National Ballet of Portugal dancing „Le Sacre du printemps“ staged by Millicent Hodson and Kenneth Archer. He also debuted in the role of Espada in “Don Quixote” choreographed by Maina Gielgud in Cape Town City Ballet. In the season 2023/24, he danced in DJKT in Pilsen. In autumn 2024, he joined the Estonian National Ballet.
