Märten Männiste

EDUCATION AND WORK
Märten Männiste studies the classical guitar at Tallinn Music High School. He has participated in the musical “The Curse of Merpeople” (various authors), in the summer staging of the State Puppet Theatre “The Children of Captain Grant” as Robert, as Alo in the production and short film by Gerda Kordemets staged for the opening ceremony of the Estonian Folk Museum, and various TV-series.
    Märten has lent his voice to several heroes of cartoons when doing the voice-over: “Finding Nemo”, “The House of Magic”, “The Boxtrolls”, “Rio 2”, “Monster High”, “The Good Dinosaur”, “Little Prince”, “Kubo and the Two Strings”, “Richard the Stork”, “Monkey King” among others.
Märten also gives concerts, often with the Männiste Family Band together with his Sister Merit and father Kaupo.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
In 2012 and 2016, he won the national competition “Best Young Instrumentalist”. Märten is the winner of the Grand Prix at the ETV singing competition “Singing Carousel” (2015).
