EDUCATION AND CAREER
Matilda Sampietro started dancing when she was 6 years old at Axis Danza in Udine. She started with classical ballet and after two years added jazz, modern and contemporary dance to her education. Since autumn 2025, she is a member of the Estonian National Ballet.
She has participated in various workshops, dance projects and national and international competitions all over Italy, Sicily and also abroad (The Netherlands,Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Latvia, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia) with Walter Madau, Frederic Olivieri, Cyril Atanassof, Eve Marie Dalcourt, Fethon Miozzi,Susanna Plaino, Piotr Nardelli, Marco Laudani, Aishe Sila, Ermano Sbezzo, Howard Quintero Lopez, Petar Djordjevski, Iana Shalenko, Marianela Nunez, Bella Ratschinskaia, and many others. In April 2025, she attended classes at Dutch National Ballet Academy.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
In the past 4 years, at national and international competitions she has been assigned the first, the second and the third prize many times as a ballet and contemporary soloist and also in ballet and contemporary duets. Her latest participation was at YAGP Paris in October/November, and she entered the Top 12 in the Senior Ballet Category.
