EDUCATION AND WORK
Pavlo Balakin graduated from the jazz saxophone class of Donetsk Music Academy in 2006. In 2002–2008, he sang in the chorus of the Ukrainian National Opera and in 2008–2013, he sung in the chorus of the Estonian National Opera. In 2008–2013, he studied singing at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre with Prof. Mati Palm. In 2013–2017, he was a soloist with the Estonian National Opera and since 2017, he is a freelancer.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
In 2012, Pavlo Balakin received the Tiit Kuusik Award by Estonia Society Foundation and in 2013, the Annual Estonian Theatre Award.
