EDUCATION AND WORK
Rafael Dicenta was born in Madrid. He studied singing in the conservatories of Madrid and Córdoba. He has sung in several chamber opera productions, as well as Lied evenings and oratorios in Spain, Italy and Austria. Amable Díaz, Valle Duque, and specially the baritone and Maestro Don Carlos Hacar taught him his vocal technique. From 2012 to 2020 he lived in Vienna. Since August of 2020, he is a member of the Estonian National Opera Chorus. His future roles include Alfred in Strauss’ “Die Fledermaus” and Bob Boles in Britten’s “Peter Grimes”.
