EDUCATION AND WORK
Riccardo Gregolin began his training in Italy, and from 2015 to 2020 he trained at Il Balletto di Castelfranco Veneto, where he obtained the Royal Academy of Dance’s Advanced 2 diploma. During this time, he also won numerous awards, such as the 1st place in the junior classical soloist category at TanzOlymp in Berlin and the 1st place in the senior men’s classical solo category at the YAGP Italy European Semi Finals in Cattolica (2019) and scholarships from the Accademia Teatro alla Scala, the Dutch National Ballet Academy and the John Cranko Schule.

From 2020 to 2022, he trained at the John Cranko Schule in Stuttgart, where he also took part in several of the company’s performances, such as Marcia Haydée’s “The Sleeping Beauty” and John Cranko’s “Onegin”. Whilst in Stuttgart, Gregolin also had the opportunity to perform at the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart in a piece choreographed by the Venezuelan choreographer Sonia Sanoja.

From 2022 to 2026, he was a member of the DJKT Balet company in Pilsen, in the Czech Republic, where he had the chance to dance several solo roles and create some choreographies, which were also performed outside the theatre, such as at galas and performances with a live orchestra.

MEMORABLE MOMENT IN BALLET
“Although I have had many memorable moments in my career, the most significant one so far has been dancing the role of Solor in the ballet “La Bayadère” and to dance in Jiří Kylián's "Six Dances" between 2025 and 2026. Thanks to this, I was able to grow enormously both technically and artistically and to train in the most important aspect of our profession, which is to move and inspire the audience”.
