Sylvie Olivé

Sylvie Olivé grew up in Paris, where she studied Fine Arts at St Charles University, the Académie Charpentier, the Leconte Academy, and the National School of Contemporary Art in Cergy. She began her career in theatre in 1987 as an assistant to the scenographer Dominique Pichou and transitioned to film in 1990 with her work on Christian Vincent’s “La Discrète”. Her international career has taken her to New York, Montreal, Berlin, and Brussels. Alongside her work in film, she has also engaged with contemporary dance and experimental performing arts.
