EDUCATION AND WORK
Since 2018, Tuuri Dede has been a part of Equilibrium Young Artists, a mentorship program led by one of the world’s most renowned contemporary sopranos, Barbara Hannigan. Dede has performed as a soloist under the baton of conductors, such as Barbara Hannigan, Neeme Järvi, Arvo Volmer, Audrey Saint-Gil, Risto Joost, Olari Elts, Tõnu Kaljuste, Kaspar Mänd, Peter Spissky, Mikk Üleoja, among others, and with orchestras including the Munich Philharmonic, Danish National Symphony Orchestra, Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, Copenhagen Philharmonic, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Tallinn Chamber Orchestra, Liepāja Symphony Orchestra, Pärnu City Orchestra, and more. She is currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (supervised by Allan Vurma), where she also earned her Bachelor’s Degree (with Teele Jõks). In 2016, she completed her Master’s Studies in opera singing at the Sibelius Academy (with Annika Ollinkari) and studied as an exchange student at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan (with Cristina Rubin). Since 2021, she has been continuing her private vocal studies with Monika Hauswalter.

AWARDS AND RECOGNITION
Tuuri Dede has been recognized in several competitions, including:

•    1st prize at the international singing competition “Havets röst” (2017)
•    1st prize at the Mart Saar Singing Competition (2016)
•    4th prize and the Sibelius Family Special Award at the International Sibelius Singing Competition (2015)
