EDUCATION AND WORK
The young Italian tenor Valerio Borgioni was born in Rome in 1997. He studies singing at Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome, under the guidance of maestro Claudio Di Segni.
Valerio Borgioni has won a number of singing competitions, the most noteworthy being AsLiCo (2020), after which he debuted in the title role of Massenet’s “Werther” in Teatro Sociale in Como. Since 2021, Borgioni has sung in a number of major opera houses, including Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, Sofia Opera and Ballet Theatre, Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, Sydney Opera House and the Rossini Opera Festival.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
In 2016, he won the competition for young opera singers organised by the Italian Cultural Heritage Ministry.
