EDUCATION AND WORK
Mart Madiste has studied singing at the Estonian Academy of Music with Professor Matti Pelo and Helin Kapten. He has furthered his training with Professor Virgilijus Noreika. He has also performed at Vanemuine Theatre and sung the soloist parts at large-scale works. Mart Madiste is the soloist of the Estonian National Opera since 1999.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
In 2006, Mart Madiste won the Tiit Kuusik Award by the Estonia Society Foundation and in 2009, he was awarded with the Georg Ots Prize.
