EDUCATION AND WORK
Riccardo Sciucca undertook singing classes with tenors Romano Emili, Luciano Ganci and soprano Iano Tamar. In addition to his musical studies, he graduated in Philosophy with honours from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, where he founded the student association “L’Intermezzo” with the aim of promoting opera culture to students of the University. He continued his studies at the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in Milan and made his debut in Teatro alla Scala as Nadir in Cherubini’s “Alì Babà and Forty Thieves”. He has also performed in Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, Teatro Regio in Parma, Theater Erfurt, Teatro Lirico in Cagliari, New National Theatre in Tokyo, Hyogo Performing Arts Center in Japan and Opéra Royal de Wallonie among others.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
He won the first prize in Adriana Maliponte International Opera Competition and the first prize in Angelo Loforese International Opera Competition in Milan.
