Triin Ella

EDUCATION AND WORK
Triin Ella graduated from Tallinn University in the field of Cultural Management and Chorus Conducting (1993), as well as Estonian Music Academy in the field of classical singing (2001) and obtained her Master’s Degree in Chamber Singing (2004, Prof. Mati Palm). While studying, she obtained further education from Leipzig University of Music and Theatre “Felix Mendelsohn Bartoldy” with Prof. Regina Werner-Dietrich (2003–2004). She has also furthered her education as a singer and vocal teacher in Finland and Germany. Since 2001, she sings in the chorus of the Estonian National Opera, where her repertoire includes also soloist roles in operas and operettas. With Jaak Jõekallas she created a series of broadcasts called “The Magic Power of Melody” and “Nostalgy” about operetta and film music for Estonian Broadcasting Union that were aired on Classical Radio and Vikerradio. Since 2010, she works as a vocal coach and singing teacher at Tallinn Music High School and within the mentor program of the Estonian Choral Association she coaches choirs all over Estonia.
