New Year's Eve Ball – Blame It All on Champagne!

Opening waltz at 7:30 pm, doors open from 6:30 pm at the Estonia Theatre entrance. Welcome drink available until 7:30 pm. Cafés and bars are open from 6:30 pm to 1 am. The Theatre House closes at 1:30 am. Box office open from 11 am to 9:30 pm.

Who will kiss at midnight? Who will tell the most convincing lie? Who will dance as if their heart were breaking?

On the final evening of the year, the Estonian National Opera opens its doors to an enchanting Art Deco masquerade ball inspired by the 1920s and 1930s. In a single night, the elegance of the Viennese waltz, the passion of the Budapest csárdás, and the sparkling energy of the Parisian cancan come together. As the orchestra begins to play and the champagne corks start to fly, a night to remember unfolds.
Guests will be welcomed on the main stage by the concert performance “Blame It All on Champagne”, directed by Oliver Reimann, with choreography by Marina Kesler and conducted by Lauri Sirp. The performers include the soloists, choir and orchestra of the Estonian National Opera, as well as the Estonian National Ballet. The evening will be hosted by Andrus Vaarik, Karis Trass and René Soom, while magician Meelis Kubo will transform reality into magic before your very eyes. Surprises await at every turn!

 

ESTONIA BALL TICKETS AND OPTIONS

There are four ticket options for the Estonia Ball. Choose the evening that suits you best: come for the dancing, enjoy the concert performance, add a festive dinner at Estonia Restaurant, or take part in the full Ball programme.

1. Dance Ticket

Price: €69

The Dance Ticket gives admission to the Estonia Ball and to the different halls of the theatre building where the Ball programme takes place.

Includes:

• admission to the Estonia Ball
• access to the different halls of the theatre building
• the Ball programme throughout the building, excluding the concert performance in the theatre hall

Does not include:

• the concert performance in the theatre hall
• a seat at Estonia Restaurant

 

2. Concert Performance and Dance Ticket

Price: €69–110, depending on the chosen seat in the theatre hall

This ticket is suitable for guests who wish to enjoy both the programme in the different halls of the theatre building and the concert performance in the theatre hall.

Includes:

• the concert performance in the theatre hall
• admission to the Estonia Ball
• the Ball programme throughout the building

Does not include:

• a seat at Estonia Restaurant

 

3. Ball Package with Estonia Restaurant

Price until 31 October: €244
Price from 1 November: €254

This package is suitable for guests who wish to enjoy the Ball evening together with a festive restaurant experience. A restaurant ticket means that the booker has a reserved seat at a table for the entire evening.

Includes:

• a reserved seat at Estonia Restaurant for the entire evening
• admission to the Estonia Ball
• access to the different halls of the theatre building

Does not include:

• the concert performance in the theatre hall

 

4. Full Package: Estonia Restaurant, Concert Performance and Ball

Price until 31 October: €175 + €69–110
Price from 1 November: €185 + €69–110
The final price depends on the chosen seat in the theatre hall.

This is the most complete Ball package for guests who wish to enjoy the entire evening: the concert performance, the Ball programme and a festive restaurant experience.

Includes:

• a reserved seat at Estonia Restaurant for the entire evening
• admission to the Estonia Ball
• access to the different halls of the theatre building
